Designed after extensive researching of the needs of athletes and the dogs who exercise with them, this system delivers the performance you would expect from a piece of sporting gear, not just a lead strapped around your waist like most hands free leash products. The system includes an adjustable nylon belt and a detachable 5' flex cord lead that will stretch to almost 10', allowing for a smooth but controlled connection between human and dog. It features a "Panic Snap" for instant release even when tensioned. Great for running, hiking, skating or cross country skiing. A 10' attachment that stretches to 20' is available - great for downhill skiing, snowboarding, hunting dogs etc. Recommended for use with our SPORTHARNESS™, CHAMPION Harness™ or SURVIVOR Harness™.

The SPORTLEASH features:

Specially designed dog belt - Highly adjustable but with no loose strap ends, and unlike many nylon belts it will hold the adjustment after repeated pulling. It includes a heavy gauge welded steel D-ring for attachment to the SPORTLEASH tether. The belt is available in 10 colors and MOONGLOW™ Reflective, and surprisingly looks good enough to wear anytime - it can fit into most belt loops. -

detachable flex cord tether with quick release "panic snap" - a 5' section of our premium quality flex cord is attached to our versatile boat snap on the dog's end, and a quick release "panic snap" on the humans. The panic snap is very easy to attach, and even easier to release, even when under heavy tension. You just grab the snap body and pull away from your belt and it pops off instantly. This feature makes it fast and easy to clear tangles and helps to prevent injury in the process. The tethers include a built in handle at the dogs end for control when you need it, and can also be attached to any of our other leads as an extension. The SPORTLEASH tether is available in 2 tension levels and comes with a 5-10' tether. Additional tethers are available in both tensions in 5 and 10' lengths.

NOTE: The SPORTLEASH is recommended for use with our SPORTHARNESS™, CHAMPION Harness™ or SURVIVOR Harness™. We do not recommend this product (or any hands free lead) for use with any collar during athletic activity. Sharp pulls can easily injure your dog without your ability to feel or prevent it.
